We created Mode & Opal because we were tired of the ones that didn’t quite work. Hard to clean, awkward to sip from, or too heavy to carry.
Ours are made for real life. The spout is shaped for a natural sip (so you don’t have to pucker or strain), the lid is dishwasher-safe, and the handle and body is designed to feel balanced even when the bottle’s full.
Every detail is intentional, so you actually enjoy using it.
Only the lid and straw is dishwasher-safe. Place the lid open on the top rack of the dishwasher along with the straw.
Make sure the lid is properly clicked shut before placing it in your bag. Make sure both seals are in place and avoid overfilling it, especially with warm liquids that build up steam.
Our bottles are designed for cold or hot (not boiling) drinks. They can keep your drinks hot for up to 18 hours.
You can safely add warm liquids, but avoid boiling liquid or carbonated drinks. Pressure build-up could cause leaks, damage or injury.
Our current bottles hold 940ml, enough to keep you hydrated through a busy day, without feeling bulky. The 940ml fits some cup holders but not all.
The 770ml has a 75mm base and tapers at the bottom, so it fits most car cupholders. Some cars, particularly 4WDs and utes, have narrower or deeper holders, so it’s worth measuring yours.
If it’s 76mm or wider you’re all good. Note the boot adds a few millimetres.
We currently ship across New Zealand and Australia.

We aim to process all orders within 1–2 business days.
Delivery takes about 2–5 business days within New Zealand and 5–10 business days to Australia.
You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your order’s on its way.

It really does help you to drink more throughout the day! I have many drink bottles, but what I do have, leaked if they fell over in the car. I love how this is easy to clean, fill with my electrolytes and ice, and the perfect size for my bag and car. It's hard as a Mum to spend money on yourself when there are perfectly 'fine' drink bottles in the cupboard but YOU WONT REGRET IT! Will recommend to everyone :)
This water bottle is great, it holds such a good amount and keeps water cold for ages. It really is free flowing & the bottle is empty before you know it.
I bought this for my daughter who needed a new drink bottle. She's so excited about it, and thanks to the easy sip spout is now drinking so much more water than she used to. It's a beautiful pink colour and the coating doesn't scratch off easily like our old drink bottle did. Love that we could get a stainless steel straw to go with it. Now I need one for myself too!
